I called Google. The problem is on their end. Delete the student’s profile. Here’s the reply: “This is a due a profile corruption issue that we have identified affecting specific profiles on Chromebooks. Engineering is already working on a fix which we expect to have available for the release of the next Chrome OS version as the latest, however, they are aiming to release a patch for version 68”
So at my school, the grades who never had a profile on the Chromebook last year are ok. Students who have the same Chromebooks and a profile are having the problem.
